A day in the life of the pro budget wedding photo/video package

As little as $200

It's simple. You pay for on-location time. $200 per hour* of on-location time plus media transfer charges. You can request one hour of on-location time for $200, or you can request as many hours of coverage you would like.

One man band operation

During your requested on-location time, photos will be taken of your wedding ceremony and reception. And video will be shot documenting your ceremony and reception events.

If you request a transfer to DVD, after a certain amount of video footage has been shot, the camera itself will switch hats and your video footage will be transferred to DVD. Meanwhile, photos will continue to be taken of your reception. Towards the end of the requested on-location time, all the photos are transferred to CD at your request.

Video to DVD the same evening

If you are requesting for DVD transfer of your video footage, you should allow one hour transfer time for each hour of on-location shooting time. Be aware that when requesting DVD transfer of video footage that there will be some down time with the camera while shot footage is being transferred to DVD. It is important to know that while this footage is being transferred, it cannot be interrupted, and that it is imperative that nothing needing to be videotaped is scheduled during that transfer time.

Video masters only = optimum coverage

For optimum video coverage, opt to purchase the digital video master tapes only. There will be no downtime during the evening, so that if any speech pops up that needs to be covered on video, the video camera will always be available to capture it.

The downside is that, though you have the original tapes, you will not immediately be able to watch your video footage after your wedding until it is transferred to DVD. You will have to take the footage to a video-to-DVD transfer facility when you return home. You can mail your tapes to a transfer house online that is as low as $20 per DVD. Local transfer houses may be more expensive.

Photos to CD that very evening

Once the location time is nearing an end, all photos will be transfered to CD(s) before the photographer leaves the location. The photos will be in digital format and the CD(s) will contain the complete amount of shots taken.

You will be able to insert the CD(s) in a computer, transfer your photos to your computer, sort them, and print from them. The digital photos will be of high-resolution, so you can have your photos printed at a photo print shop or even at home with a good ink jet printer. No further graphic processing is performed on the photos.

Photos are provided as low-compression JPEG files. At your request, your photos can be provided in RAW format, with no compression whatsoever. Understand that you may not be able to view the RAW picture format without special professional software. Inexpensive Mayan Riviera wedding photography and wedding video.
